Saw the trailer for this movie over the weekend.  I have to say that using Queen for the trailer was a nice touch.  The editing for it made me want to watch the movie.  Now I'm anticipating the release of this film.

I finally watched this on a flight over the holidays.  Is it odd that I catch up on movies as part of the in-flight entertainment?

In a way, watching it on the plane was less of a let down.  It was a fun romp but it really wasn't what the trailers were selling.  Margot Robbie was worth watching and not because of the costuming.  Will Smith was also worth watching.  The rest of the cast was ... filler?  Killer Croc did get a couple good lines.  Watching El Diablo show off what he really looked like was neat.  The Aussie was comic relief?

Anyway, it was a good way to kill some flight time.  If I see the Blu Ray for $5 - $10, I might listen to the voices in my head and buy it if there was a digital version bundled with it.

Didn't like it in theatres.
Bought the digital amazon hoping it would go the superman vs batman route where the more I watched it the more I warmed up to it.
Still don't like it :)

Key reasons :
. They completely totally screwed up joker.
. The main villian felt like she belonged in a ghostbuster film.
. Too many undeveloped characters who either got to much background spotlight or no where near enough.

My favorite parts?
. The beginning the way it introduced everyone.
. Post credits when batman and ol whats her name have a serious one on one conversation about the squad and various other super powers.

That is why I waited for a longish flight. It is also why I would only get it if it was "cheap" and bundled with a digital copy. I can think of 3 scenes to re-watch. I could probably find them on YouTube eventually. Would never get this anywhere near MSRP.
