Felix looked on in disgust at her undignified behaviour!

;D ;D ;D Poor Puss! Felix looks like he is saying, "I told you so!" I've heard people refer to the prairie magpies as "catbirds" because of their call, but I think that may be a local nickname since real catbirds are a different bird entirely.

I posted a couple of videos just for you over on the animal photo thread.

Apologies I didn't get round to doing a June event. Does anyone have any other word suggestions for July? We already have Selkii's Solitude carried over from May - can think of a few ideas already!
Currently playing...umm nothing much.
TWD No-Man’s Land but getting  very bored with it very quickly.

Would still be playing We Rule and Supernauts - if the devs could be bothered.

So glad AWIW hasn't been totally forgotten! Even though I was sad June got bypassed, I might be able to pick up my camera again come July.

What is happening for the Summer Solstice?

I've been in a sort of suspended state because of the pain meds, but I have every intention of getting off a shot even if it is just the ceiling. Would love it if you (and others) would also join in to keep the tradition going. I think we have become fractured in the past months, but if we keep the window candle burning, then the kids will know they can always come home  :) . Will write to Gatecon to provide us with a landing pad.

My time on the west coast is 9:39am, or -7

Sorry you're not feeling well Selkii, hope the problem gets better soon! Yes, it's sad the forum has been so quiet recently. We used to get so many photos for these events, but I'm happy to carry on with our traditions till it picks up again. The solstice here is at quite a civilised hour for a change - 5.39 pm. Looking forward to seeing your bedroom ceiling or whatever else you manage to get a shot of!
