I'm really pleased with my kitchen window seed trays this year. I have 16 trays on the go and all but one have sprouted. Many of them...dahlias, lemon cucumber, gazania took just 4 days from sowing to outgrowing the height of the seed try lids

Did I tell you...because of you, we've planted those "toothache/electric" seeds. They are just breaking through.

Haha love it.
Mine are just coming thru too so hopefully both of ours will grow at the same rate.

Am planning to use some of mine in the electric daisy, mint and pineapple vodka recipe
Currently playing...umm nothing much.
TWD No-Man’s Land but getting  very bored with it very quickly.

Would still be playing We Rule and Supernauts - if the devs could be bothered.

Need recipe!
Did yours self-seed or do you re-plant every year?

Where is everybody?!!

Need inspiration? A cat's nose is supernatural; their fur is fuzzy; let your breakfast cereal go mushy; we are SURROUNDED by fabric. This should have been the easiest month yet!

Cherokee Purple Seedlings - Day 2

These are Cherokee Purple, heirloom tomatoes. We bought them at an organic produce market about 3 years ago, ate the tomatoes and saved the seeds. Double yum! Don't know if I'm developing a trend here (does "2" qualify?). Funny thing is, we have been growing tomatoes for eons, yet I never thought of photographing a seedling's progress. We'll see how long it takes for me to get bored - with this subject, NOT the thread! (thread...fabric...there's a pun in there somewhere)

Perfect. I'll go photograph the cat sticking its furry nose into my bowl of cereal while dressed in a cooks apron

In keeping with the super natural beauty of plants, here are a couple from my seed trays...

Green bean seedlings, with their first leaves unfurled

and tomato plant leaves backlit by the sun

Especially like the back lit one.

Today's entry - surprise! - not tomatoes.

Fuzzy thread
