Talking of Canada am Vancouver bound in two weeks time though not really a vacation...most of my 11 days will be looking at the inside of the hotel for the convention in my sig. Managing to fit in a whale watching trip the day before I leave.

It was originally going to be a longer trip and I was possibly meeting up with Selkii but for various reasons it's become a shorter visit. Shame.
Currently playing...umm nothing much.
TWD No-Man’s Land but getting  very bored with it very quickly.

Would still be playing We Rule and Supernauts - if the devs could be bothered.

It would've been nice if you had a day in Toronto. Would've loved to meet you in person. Hope the convention goes as well as you hoped! Good luck :)

Next time you choose an exotic location for your vacation, instead of a Caribbean Island, head for Vancouver Island and we will all meet up. After all, our part of the island around Victoria is known as the "Banana Belt" of Canada for good reason.  8)

If you fancy day after day of tropical temperatures, golden beaches, and blue skies head to the UK next year ;)

Don't have an emoticon for "stunned silence followed by peals of laughter." Funny thing, though... just finished a marathon viewing of the detective series, "Shetland," online and am pining for a lovely summer vacation of bird photography on sunny... oops... foggy Fair Isle.

I spent a week in beautiful isolation near Cape Wrath a few years back so about as far north as you can go on the Scottish mainland. A friend ran a hotel, well the only hotel, sitting on its own with its nearest neighbour three miles away. The only other guest all week was a Dutch walker and his dog.

Furthest north I've been island-wise is Skye., though I do fancy exploring the Shetlands, Orkneys and Hebrides. Then there is the ship that takes passengers over to the Faroes and on to Iceland.

Instead of starting another thread, am plopping this here as it technically is my Autumnal Equinox and a psuedo-vacation shot for any MJ'ers who may still stumble by this board.

I'm here too and I miss all of you as well :'( . My renos are almost done and hopefully I'll get some pics up of all the changes, soon. It's been a while since I've done a "Home Project" thread ;).

I think we should at least grunt every so often so we know we're not alone.   :-\

Ninja - can't wait to see what you've done. I still remember your patio project and that great gate. And I am holding you to that BBQ invite!
