I'm not reading this thread, but I just heard some stuff about this show that made me realize I wish I'd been watching it all along.

Ugh, that well scene was just meh for me.

First of all.... Why chance sending someone down there?

Second of all. Would you drink the water that that zombie was soaking in for god knows how long?

Seal off the well and move on.

That scene was poorly thought out.

Bring on next week and put the well behind us lol.

Well, it was awesome just for the fun of it, but yes, in the story the whole plan was just stupid.

I sort of feel like I just had 42 minutes stolen from my life.  I guess they must be setting up for something big.  I felt like nothing happened there at all.  Why didn't Daryl stay at that house where is it looked like someone was living.  He couldn't wait for them to come out?

The farm family is not innocent.  I am sure that some stragglers came along that they did not like and asked them to leave.  When the people did not leave I am sure the "did what had to be done".

Less sex more walkers please!

Can they please just kill of Sophie's mom.  I am finidng myself rooting for the people to die, at least some of them.  I have had enough of Dale.

I still like the show, but something needs to happen.  It is moving to slow.  It seems like they are trying to do a charecter study, but it isn't working.

Lol, I was just thinking this morning that I am not rooting for people to live the way one would expect for a show like this. Like you, I actively want people dead. Here's my list:

Please don't die!
Darryl
Rick, kinda

Die if you want, I don't care
Shane
Lori
young guy who drives the red car and got some last night

You can die
Rick and Lori's kid
T-Dog (and really, they had to name the one black guy like a rapper?!)

You'd be awesome if you were a zombie
old guy (Dale?) - and keep driving the RV!
grumpy blonde lady (Andrea?)
Lori's fetus

Disappear from the show without a single mention that you ever existed
Carol and her idiot daughter Sophia

His name is Glenn and I actually don't mind him, he's not annoying like some other characters and he holds his own against zombies.

Well, he did at least make the "I'm okay with you living" list. ;)

I don't dislike him, but he hasn't been getting much story lately until last night, and even that I found a little pathetic. Dude, you've lived through the zombiepocalypse and have done some really badass stuff. Time to stop getting all nervous around pretty girls.  ::)

Only cuz the music got scary.  (Hubby narrated about what I couldn't see behind the pillow.)

I wondered out loud why they'd keep them in the barn.  Hubby says, "Well, tie a brain to the end of a fishing line, strap the pole behing the back of the zombie's waste so that the brain comes up from behind and floats in front of the zombie to keep it in forward motion and ya gotcher self a great plow horse."

Who can be squeamish watching a zombie show with logic like that around?  I might just start watching it with him regularly.

If you noticed the walkers outfits in the barn, it seemed that they had overalls on.  Maybe, they are some of their "kin" and Hershel is trying to find a cure.  Or maybe it is just a coincidence.

Welcome back from your hunt, Bauble!

Hmmm....  I hadn't noticed what they were wearing.  I only noticed how half their faces were gone, 'n stuff.  Ew.  I also want to know why the guy who went in there looking for a little hanky-panky hadn't noticed the smell as soon as he approached the building!

Thanks for the welcome home!  I gotta tell ya, when we were walking around in those Georgia woods, the terrain could've been taken from a scene right out of the show!  When it got dark and a little bit foggy....   [Tremble, tremble...  shudder.]  My Sis kept teasing me about it.  I left her out there.  We'll SEE just who gets creeped out now!

Now there's one less zombie out there to worry about!!  Muah ha ha ha!!  ;)

Well, I knew the farmhouse people had something hidden away, but a barn full of zombies was not my first guess. But when Glenn's girlie got that OH BOBBA look on her face after reading his note, I realized it might be that.

TLo thinks that Herschel is pathologically naive and is saving them for some eventual cure.

Some quick thoughts:
  • I liked getting some more backstory at the beginning of the episode.
  • WTF is Andrea's problem, shooting from that distance toward a group that included three known humans, very close to the line of fire?
  • I liked this episode, but OMG can we just forget about Sophia and move on already?!!! That girl better be the zombie prom queen when she finally comes back.  >:(
