This could be due to the fact that we only have one episode of Grimm to watch for now though.

I haven't watched it yet, but my tivo recorded a second episode last Friday night. If you missed it, it's available on Hulu.

Hmmm...

Watched the second episode of Grimm last night, and I have to say I wasn't particularly impressed.

Episode 1: Werewolf kidnaps people to kill them and eat them.
Episode 2: Werebear kidnaps people to kill them in a ritual hunt.

Yeah, pretty much the exact same episode. Next three episodes:
- Werepig kidnaps people to kill them for making fun of his stutter.
- Werekitty kidnaps people to kill them with cuddly fuzzy cuteness.
- Werefashiondesigner kidnaps people to kill them and turn them into a FABULOUS red carpet gown. (Next on Project Runway!)

LOL! I haven't watched the second episode yet. I'll check it out later.

I have enjoyed both, but like the modern thread to OUAT. Time will tell if Grimm becomes a routine plot with just a change of characters.

Grimm is about to start on a UK satellite channel in February.

For those of you who have seen more episodes is it worth watching? Initial reviews on this thread were mixed.
Currently playing...umm nothing much.
TWD No-Man’s Land but getting  very bored with it very quickly.

Would still be playing We Rule and Supernauts - if the devs could be bothered.

I actually didn't mind the most recently aired episode. It got interesting, but it's taken awhile to warm up and I'm not sure if they can keep the momentum going after taking so long to get there. The next episode (organ harvesting twist on Hansel & Gretel) looks promising as well.

My husband & I enjoy Grimm very much, but it's our taste. Supernatural stories, fantasy, and a tiny bit of detective work.

I can't wait for us here to get the latest season of Being Human UK. They have an American version, but it didn't hold my interest since I was constantly comparing it to the UK version. Though the American version might have more special effects... The UK version runs circles around the other with the acting & depth of emotion you feel with the characters.

I normally LOVE things like this and they usually get cancelled :( But this one just didn't do it for me...Glad there were more than just my opinion to help Richard decide :)

I have to admit if Haywire wasn't in it, I would be much less interested in it. (he's Grimms version of a werewolf called Wieder Blutbad instead, and he's played Silas Weir Mitchell as Monroe, a Wieder Blutbad who aids Nick with his cases. Monroe is intimately knowledgeable about the supernatural creatures Nick goes up against.)

It does have a somewhat repetitive format (as do many shows) but my husband and I enjoy it a lot too (like you guys Mangoness, it's our "taste" :) ) and we love Monroe!  Cool, funny character 8)

Yeah, he's a big part of why I still enjoy it too. He's an entertaining character.

And season 5 finale was worth watching.  I wonder how season 6 is going to turn out.

Spoiler for Hiden:
I think the wood splinter cured Eve of more than the wound.  I'm thinking it cured her wessan afflication as well.

Yes, I think we're in for some more surprises and changes in the next season.  I wonder about the dynamic between the captain and Nick, and where that whole thing goes.
Currently playing Happy Street, The Tribez & Castlez, The Tribez.

And the season finale opened up right where we left off.  The Capt has his cross-hairs set on Nick for some reason.  Guess it is because Nick is what would upset the "family" that was created to put him in as mayor.

Spoiler for Hiden:
The cloth had something more that only Eve could see.  I wonder if Nick's soul and Eve's soul are now "in danger".  That "dead" body was trying to drag Eve's soul along with him to the afterlife.
